deployment aborted while deploying an ear

Hi experts,

When trying to deploy a ear file in the j2ee engine , the deployment is getting aborted and the following error is populated

Deployment exception : Server web did not accept login request as admin on port 50118. Details: ERROR: Could not establish connection to server web at port 50118: Connection timed out: connect

Inner exception was :

Server web did not accept login request as admin on port 50118. Details: ERROR: Could not establish connection to server web at port 50118: Connection timed out: connect

please suggest me with any solutions.

Hi,

This message means that there is alredy an open connection to The SDM (SDM can have only one connection at a time) So restart the SDM and then try to deploy the .ear file.

Be sure that the SDM is running properly. Possibly, it is down.

Have you done some research for this yourself ?

There are tonnes of resources in SDN.

for starters , is the port number 50118 correct ? What is the instance number of your J2EE ?
