Obtain XI info from a web dynpro

Hi,

I don´t know if ask this here or in the web dynpro/portal forum..

I have a client who has an XI and a Portal, and he asks to me if it´s possible to develop a web dynpro to connect it with the XI and retrieve monitor info and do admin task to do this work from the portal in a simple web dynpro iview .
