Can anyone please educate me on Business Partner in SAP S/4 Hana

1. I am keen to know how to create an independent Ship-to-party, Bill-to-part, Payer like we could create it in ECC.

2. What are BP Types and what is its significance?

3. In what way can we use Business Partner Groupings and Business Roles. Here, my learning is limited to creating an internal number assignment (BP Grouping) with BP Role as Business Partner (Gen.), FI Customer, Customer.
I want to learn, what are other standard business groupings and how to customize the same as per business requirement. Please share an example if any one of you would have customized it with their individual client requirements.

4. I am keen to learn, how does Relationship work in Business Partner.

5. If I want to assign a Forwarding Agent, Sales Representative in the Business Partner Functions how do I do it?

6. I need to migrate Customer Master Data from ECC to S/4 Hana, how can that be achieved? Will it have any impact to the form, design or layout in the S/4 Hana system.

Hi Tejas.

When you have a specific doubt or question, of course that this is the best place for you get more information and help to clarify our points.

But, in cases like yours, when you need "to learn" about a concept, my suggestion is to you goes to appropriate SAP´s place for this type of content.

Check this link, and, if there are remaining questions after you read, come and do your question. This topic is a wide theme, and it is impossible educate you in Business Partner Concepts without you read and study a little before.

Thanks for your reply. I went through the hyperlink that you sent me.

What i wanted to learn here is the expert advice which the users would have experienced over a period of time while working on Business Partners.

You helped me out with the theoretical concept. I am not kind of a guy who will post my questions here without going through any material available on the scn. Please read through my questions.

I don't have anything against any of you moderators. I come and type my question to seek an expert advice. To know if there are any cases you can share with me based on my queries.

I think the SCN is not what it was earlier, like really helping out the consultants in need. Its more like "go here. go there" rather.

Sorry if you all are hurt. I am deeply hurt too.

Now coming to the point of asking a specific question, here are they:

1. Can any SAP practitioner share their experience working on the grouping of business partner?
In what ways we can create a grouping in the business partner, If some one can throw some light on how they have used Grouping as a parameter in their business requirement.

2. Can BP Type be used as an Account Group? Has anyone used business partner type in their business requirement. Please share so that, the inexperienced SAP consultants like me can get an idea of how it can help in business.

If I get an answer to this, it will be helpful.
