Is there any way to mass setup location in mmsc?

Hi

We need extend matieral for new location.Is there any mass creation way for materials in mmsc?

Eg: we have new loacation A for over 1000 parts, Could we mass create it in mmsc?

Hi

best way is to Create a LSMW using Batch input trecording

You will require three input fileds fro the same

Plant , Materila & Storage location.

Thats the most easiest way.

yes

IN MM17 you can not create any storage location you can extend it

If you just want to extend material to storage location then create 1 storage location n extend in MM17

If its just for 1 material n 1 time requirment then use MMSC

Hi,

You can Use MMSC to extend storage location or one more method is there.

Go to MASS trxn code select Object as BUS1001 and execute. You can extend material to storage location bulk.

Revert back in case not solved.
