whtat is precies and dailyscheduling what is the difference between both

Precise scheduling & Daily scheduling are used in Shipping point.

Precise scheduling calculates down to the minutes,but Daily scheduling also calculates in hours and minutes but ultimately gives the resulting date.

If you are maintaining a working time in the shipping point than, Precise scheduling is used, as work is on sift basis.

If you are using Precise scheduling, than the working time of the Shipping is taken into consideration for calculating the Pick pack time & loading time. But in Daily scheduling Factory calander is taken into consideration.

Particularly, for calculating Transit time, both the scheduling uses factory calander.

Hi,

Precise scheduling calculated down to the day, hour and minute is supported. This allows the scheduling of a delivery within a single day. It is activated by maintaining the working hours for a particular shipping point.

Daily Scheduling : In this SAP system looks for the requirement on daily basis. Generally SAP does Scheduling on Backward and forawrd Basis.
