Hi all

i would like to know the basic concept on reports since i am i beginner i would like to know about the reports and the difference between normal reports and crystal reports

Hi Manoj,

In SAP Business One we can generate 2 types of reports

1) PLD -Print LayOut Designer

2) QLD - Query Layout Designer

and

Crystal Reports also we can integrate with the sap business one.

As mentioned, SAP Business One has it's own report writers. The "built in" report writers that are available with the install of SAP Business one are the Print Layout Designer (PLD) and the Query Layout Designer. As an "add-on" that you can download from SAP there is also the Advanced Layout Designer (ALD).

Crystal Reports is a third-party report writing application that can also be used with SAP Business One as you can access the SAP Business One Db using ODBC, as one example, to connect Crystal Reports to SAP Business One.
