custom batch number in COR1,COR2 through enhancement ?

Hi Experts,

I need to add custom batch number in COR1 through some logic.

I tried Exit EXIT_SAPLCOBT_001 - Here I can change the batch number and can maintain my own Batch using exits internal table POSITION_TABLE . But even after changing the POSITION_TABLE the new batch is not getting updated in the process order.The screen value is getting updated Back.

Kindly Advice what to do in this scenario.

Hello Lahshana

user exit EXIT_SAPLCOBT_001 is not designed to change data. See FAQ 1855055 question 1.

You refer to the goods receipt batch right ?

Than you should customize that new batch should be created while creation / release of order. Than the batch functions are called and you can use user exit from batch management EXIT_SAPLV01Z_001 - 004.
