Material Document Number

Hi All,

Is it possible to have to documents with same material document number with two different movement types in tables MKPF, MSEG........

I hope these are the two main tables to check for..

Please explain me the scenario under what conditions this would be met.

Thanks,

Satya Priya

Hai Satya Priya!!

If u Observe the tables MKPF and MSEG the material document number is a primery key . So there exists only one material document number in these tables and there is no possibility of having same material document number twice.

Reward if Useful.

Regards,

Swapna.

Hi,

It is possible. For example, in production, Finished Goods Receipt (Movement type 101) and Raw Material Consumption (Movement type 261) will be posted in the

same Material Document Number.

Reward if usefull........

Thanks,
