Question about status messages for BDC...

Hello Experts,

I created a BDC program for transaction ABT1(Intercompany asset transfer). Now,

my program works fine in DEV client but when I transported it in QAS, my program stops

because there is an 'ERROR' message saying that we are trying to post in a previous fiscal year

but this has no effect in DEV since that same message is only shown as a WARNING but not as an ERROR.

So I tried posting using the transaction manually and it works fine.

Now, here are my questions:

1. How do we suppress status/transaction messages in BDC?

2. Why does the message shows as an error in QAS while it is also displayed in DEV but only

as a warning.
