Performance MDM Business Package extremely low

Hi MDM-Gurus,

We are on MDM 5.5 SP6 Hotfix 9.

After a restart of the portal the performance is good, but gets slower and slower continuously until the MDM iViews are taking up to 4 minutes to load.

Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Any pointers on how to improve performance would be great!!!

After investigation we have found that the hierarchical search is causing the performance issue.

A hierarchy with many records (in our case 10000+) will cause this issue.

SAP provided us with a hotfix:

MDM 5.5 SP6 Patch3 Hotfix 6.

This resolves most of the performance issue.

However, there still is a considerable performance issue for pages containing the hierarchical search iView, which can cause the portal to crash.
