MHIO and MHIS

Hello Friends,

I may be in a completly diffrent area.I am new to PM function side .I am a developer and need more information on MHIO and MHIS before creating a view on top of the two.

My first question is how is the flow between MHIO and MHIS.If i build a view on top of the two tables and use the common keyfields what is the data that i am seeing.As it will nto be all from MHIO or MHIS but rather the one thats common in both the table.The data thats common between the 2 tables means is it already done or will be done or is progress.

I hope you can understand my confusion and ill greatly appreciate your assistance.
