Is it possible to specify Alpha Numerc character in RFC import parameter?

Hi Guys,

My Req is i will get 2 alpha numeric characters for my RFC as Import.I was not able to declare any alpha numeric characters in Import parameters if i do i am getting an Information mesage like "Generic types are not allowed in RFC" so how to do?

use DDIC recognised dataelement....

Go to Se11 and find a data element that fills your need, there a plenty of alphanumeric types.

alphanumeric usually means char, alpha = letters numeric = numbers

Numc is also "alphanumeric" but only accepts numbers.

I guess you need to ask the person who gave you the requirement
