Splitting Material documents

Hi,

I have requirement to generate multiple material documents when we do a material movement of 122, 301,303 etc. based on the number of the line items in the document.

For eg. if the number of line items in the document is 20 then it should generate 2 material documents.

Pls. let me if there is any setting in configuration for this.

Hi,

You have to customize Document splitting in SPRO.

PathSRPO-Financial accounting (new)G/L new--> business transaction --Document splitting

It is a function of SAP FINANCE .

Please consult your FI Team.

Normally in the Business they will not do this .

I am trying to split the material document but the setting which you have mentioned i believe is for FI document.

Is there any kind of setting there on MM side to split the material document.

Hi,

It is FI related only from MM we should not do anything.

Please ask your FI team members.

It will be have an impact on Finance
