Hi Guru's,

Need your help for creating the controlling area.

I have created the Company Code in FI and now trying to create the CO.Ar for the same in Controlling thru OKKP.

I have selected the new entries and created the CO.Area.

while assigning the Co.Cd to the Co.Area created, iam getting the following error "Data in company code ATL1 is not maintained.

Message no. KT294"

Pls help. Itz very urgent. Full points will be given for problem solving solution.

Hi

Please check your controlling definition once again for proper chart of accounts, fiscal year variant, cost centre hierarchy, etc.

If everything is in proper, please try to assign the controlling area to company code.

requires that the currency, fiscal year variant, and chart of accounts are all maintained in the company code. At least one of these settings is not maintained in company code .

Complete data maintenance in company code . Only then can you assign company code to controlling areapossible.

u plz go through with Oby6 global parameters check all the things .according to that u can do

Thanks, this makes sense - you first have to maintain the relevant parameters (such as FY Variant, Chart of Accounts, etc) in transaction OBY6 before you can assign the Company Code to the Controlling Area.
