why are my production orders not generating TRs? i have set-up my production scheduler profiles to generate TRs upon order releasing. when WM consultant checks in LB10 to see what TRs were generated, nothing comes out. However, on past production orders, there were TRs generated. what seems to be the problem

Hi,

Transfer requirement are created depending upon the customising done in production scheduling profile.

In transaction CORY, there is tab for transport. In that you can see input field for WM request with three input options

1. NO TR creation on order release - with this setting no TR will be generated.

2. TR creation on order release - here transfer requirements will be generated on releasing order.

3. TR & TO on order release - In this case TR generated on order release & then automatically converted to transfer orders.

Hence when you check TR with the third settings, you will not find any transfer requirements.

If you want to create transfer requirement after order release, then set WM request field as "only creation of transfer requirements on release".

i have set this up already. do i need to stage my materials in the prod order after releasing, for the TRs to generate?

Hi

1. is the storage location WM activated?

2. is the WM view maintain the placing strategy?

3. do u maintain the supply area in the work center?
