hi expert,

It's my first time to install Identity Center database on MS SQL Server. I open a command prompt and navigate to SQL-server directory, then run mxmc-install.cmd . I'm prompted for some passwords.then there is an error information:'osql' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

and there no information in mxmc_logfile.log

thanks a million.

Best regard,

minghong

minghong,

Have you actully created a MSSQL database?. In oracle we can execute mxmc-install.cmd script only once we have created a database. Also check the document Installing the database (Microsoft SQL Server) https://websmp209.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700000062322008E

Thank you.

Hi Minghong,

OSQL is a commmand-line tool provided with MS-SQL Server 2000 or 2003 for transact-SQL statements. Seems like it can't be found. Search for it - in MS-SQL Server 2003 it's below \90\Tools\Binn. Try mxmc-test.cmd to verify the connection to the database.

Check your installation of MS-SQL Server and have a look in the internet, where you'll find further informations.

Best Regards,

Nils
