Cannot open Workbook BI 7.0

Hi All,

I am unable to open the workbooks. It just shuts down after loggin in.

I am able to open and work on queries.

When I open any workbook the BEx Analyzer shuts down. Its gives an error message "cannot do the function. Check trace".

But before I can do anything more when I say "ok" it just shuts down.

Do any of you have a solution to this issue.

It could be becos of the SAP GUI you have on the system...Please check whether you have the latest version on that system or atleast the same version as your laptop..

We are on:

Release: 710 Final Release

File Version: 7100.2.7.1038

Build: 967944

Patch Level: 7

This is the same on both systems.

I am able to open the workbooks on my laptop but when I try to open the same workbook from a different laptop it wont open.

I am able to open queries and save them as workbooks and reuse only the ones created in from that laptop.

Any help please.
