Structure List in Service Order

Hi,

I have maintained Material BOM for an Assembly A1234 with components A and B.

In the BOM, Part B is alternate to Part A and so I have maintained same "Alternate Item Group" for both components.

I have created a Service Order using T Code IW31 with Assembly A1234. I wanted to select the components using the "Select: Structure List" option in the "Components" tab page. The Std layout of this list is not showing Alternate Item Group though it is showing all components.

I need to differentiate alternate Part from the regular part. Is it possible to customize / change the layout?

Hi,

You can adjust the layout from the structure list.

Select Settings - Field Selection - Component

Additional fields are now available and can be added to the list. Not sure that your particular field is available but maybe you can utilise some other field to differentiate the alternate material.
