extension field - lookup type

I would like the opportunity page to display the value of an extension field created in the account, automatically updated to the value selected in the account. ( Ex. Account YTD revenue or some other). Is this possible? Could I created an extension field in the opporutnity page to pull this information automatically based on the account selected?

Hello Fernanda,

It is possible if you create the extension field in the Account and extend it to Sales Opportunities.

In the opportunity screen, it will take the value from the account linked.

Thanks, good to know this is possible. How do I do that exactly? I didn't find an option to add an account field in the opportunity page

Hi Fernanda,

If you have created the field via kut(UI) than you can extend the field to opportunity in the field properties of the kut field.

Select field properties > Extension Scenarios > Check Account to Opportunity option.

If you have created the field via sdk than you have to create a process extension scenario in Customer and assign the scenario to the extension field.
