CO-PA extractor

Former Member

After following BuildingBlock for CO-PA (creating DS in OLTP in KEB0, and so on) I went to RSA3 to test the extractor and I get an error message: "Errors occurred during the extraction Message no. RJ012". I googled it and nothing appeared.

In the Log generated for the extraction test, I find an entry: "No source could be found to answer the search query".

Has anybody experienced something like this when implementing COPA ?

Kind Regards,

Santiago

Solved. Create a summarization level for Operating Concern in transaction KEDV and save it.

Hi Anand, thanks for your reply. As you might know the operating concern is a mandatory field in the extraction of CO-PA, so I am executing the RSA3test with it as filter.

I read the three links but they didn't help all that much.

Do you have anyother idea or place where I should serach for a solution or workaround for this issue ?

Hi,

May be this note is helpful: https://websmp203.sap-ag.de/~form/handler?_APP=01100107900000000342&_EVENT=REDIR&_NNUM=1069507&_NLAN....

You just need to implement the correction.

Hope this helps.

Anand, the note does not apply to the problem. It is for BANK component and it corrects function modules and methods that do not exist in our system, despite the sympton being the same than the one we are experiencing.

I have deleted the DS to regenerate it but still the same error message. Is frustraiting.

Any other ideas ?

Hi,

In addition you must delete your account-based DataSources and recreate them. The new DataSources contain field 'VALUTYP' and this enables you to choose valuation views in BW reporting as you can in transaction KE30.

Just check this.

Anand, the DS does contain ValueType...

We opened an SAP cust.message to get some help from them, since this extractor should be working fine and it isn't.

So as soon as we get any idea on what is wrong I will let you know.

Hi Santiago,

I'm also having this same issue. Have you resolved the issue? What did SAP recommend?

Thanks,

Shannon, we solved the problem by creating a summarization level for CO-PA data in transaction KEDV in our R3 system. Once you create it, you just need to save it and it will start loading, making information available for extraction.
