I am from SD side i want to know what is the use of MRP1, MRP2, MRP3 and MRP4 vies in material master

Hi,
In simple words if we have to explain
MRP1 : we maintain general data,mrp procedure,lot size data
MRP2: vwe maintain procurement,scheduling,req calculation
MRP3 : We maintain forecast req,plang,avblty check
MRP4 : For BOM explosion
These data is Pulled for further processing for MRP Run.

MRP1 View is used for General Planning Data _ Purchasing & Production
MRP2 View - Procuremnts, Scheduling Operations - Purcahsing & Production
MRP3 - Forecast requiremnts , Production Plannig , Sales Planning, Availbaility Cheks - Production Planning
MRP4 - Thsi view maintained only for Production Planning, Process Industry

How interesting that you have put such a big issue so simply in this question. It would be difficult for anyone to explain all details as a reply to this question.
I suggest that you go to the Material Master in the MRP views and go through the individual field documentation to understand its importance. I guess the usage and necessity of each field would get highlighted as you study.
