Error in Launchpad - Assign properly catalog to change request

Hi,

i have a problem when I try to open the app after transporting it from DEV to QA.

It happens when I made some changes in the catalog i.e. if i make some updates on the catalog with static tile on QA i won't see the changes.

Any Advise?

  • What kind of problems are you seeing? What is the system architecture along with the versions? Screenshots, error messages, what kind of updates on the catalog, etc. need to be provided if you really want someone to try to help with your problem. Is your Fiori Cloud based or on-Premise?

    Hi Andrea,

    As per the recommendation, catalog changes needs to be done on Dev system and then stored in a Customizing request TR and imported in QA. Hope this is followed. Sometimes the changes will not reflect. In that case you need to run some reports in target system for cache clearing.

    1. Run report /UI2/INVALIDATE_GLOBAL_CACHES. This cache clearing is mandatory especially to verify the translations integrated for ex tiles,groups,catalogs in Launchpad admin

    2. Run the report /UI2/CHIP_SYNCHRONIZE_CACHE. Make sure there is no error in the table /UI2/CHIP_CHDR

    3. Run the report /UI2/DELETE_CACHE_AFTER_IMP.

    At last close the chrome browser/run in incognito mode and check. But Step 1 here should be helpful.

    Hi Tejas,

    I tried all you have suggested but i still have these error. The tile is a static tile that i created.
