Sales Order line not registering complete outbound delivery

Hi SAP experts, I have a problem. My company does MTO sales order production and use SAP for sales order, production orders, delivery and invoicing.

Status of each sales order item is visible through VA03 -> Document flow (F5).

Now, for one problem order for which we have a completed production order with completed outbound delivery, document flow does not update in Sales Order item and the item can not be closed. I've checked production order, TR, TO, Delivery note, and I can't find anything wrong.

We also run an automatic nightly MRP batch run, and it triggers a new plan order for this particular Sales Order line.

What can I do next? I've looked at SDRQCR21 but don't know if that would help me.

If just a single order behalves different to other orders then I am doubtful that customizing could be the cause.

Unfortunately I believe we can't help much if we don't see anything.

You are basically just saying "..document flow does not update in Sales Order item" . It is not even mentioned what entry is missing or not having the right status, pretty less information to start with an analysis or do give a recommendation where you should look into.

I agree. If it's an oddball then it's clearly not a systemic configuration issue.

It is possible though that there is simply a status inconsistency. In that case I'd check SAP notes for a correction report. Contact SAP Support in the worst case. This is not an SCN material IMO since it'd likely require access to the system to answer.

Have you checked copy control VTLA ? Also from SD point of view, system would show only the delivery and SD related activities and not production order as you were mentioning. Please provide more information on your configuration part of item category and copy control settings for better understanding.

One Guess-If a customer in its master data maintained as **No limit for subsequent deliveries***-Then system will always take the status as partially delivered, even after completion--Pl check this.(Option-D in shipping Tab in sales area data at XD02)

Pl update..
