Time based dynamisation in dynamisation rule?

I would like to implement a yearly or quarterly inspection scope dynamisation. Is there a way to implement a time based dynamisation rule / level jump. There is only the way to reset the dynamisation and a way to define a minimum of days. The problem is that the system always calculates these dates up from the last usage decision.

This question has been covered several times before in discussions. It appears you want to do yearly, time-based vendor/material inspections using Dynamic Modification Rules (DMR's).

Maybe your search parameters were not quite correct?

The answer is you have to use a user exit to accomplish what you want.

Try the following searches:

1) SAP resetting DMR

2) SAP yearly recertification of vendors

3) SAP yearly vendor inspection

Doing the above three searches should give you enough links to find what you need. If you have problems, come back and let me know.

Hello Craig S,

thanks a lot for your help. Indeed i found some good information based on your answers. So as i already assumed there is no standard way.

So one way would be: Implementation of BADI Inspection lot change. At saving usage decision i should update the QL by using QDBU_QUALITY_LEVEL_POSTING?

I believe that might be the exit.
