Project parallel settlement to FI and CO-PA

Dear Friends,

I'm failed to post values of an project (cost of saled/revenue) to FI and COPA, related customizing is as following:

1. Definition of result analysis key

2. Definition of Valuation Methods for Results Analysis

3. Activation of posting to FI in Results Analysis version

4. Assignment of Allocation Structure and PA Transfer Structures to my Settlement profile

5. Check WBS settlement rule- Receiver is G/L account

6. Carry out result analysis with Tcode KKA2

7. Settlement -CJ88

However, no PA document was generated but only FI document. Please help me to check this problem, your answer is appreciated.

    • Hi Donnovan,

You do not need to maintain both settlement receivers(GL and PSG) in WBS element or MTO sales order or Service order to post to GL and COPA.

Enter PSG as a settlement receiver and rest of the settings in RA configuration steps:

      Check your configuration steps :

OKG2 -WIP and COS recognition configuration and status based configurations.

OKG5 -->GL account/cost elements mapping to line ids

OKG4 -->line ids assignment to secondary cost elements and COS/WIP assignments

OKG8 -->secondary cost elements mapping to correct categories and GL accounts.

In OKG8 make sure your WIPR and COSR etc categories and secondary cost elements should be mapped correctly and assigned to GL accounts(whatever P&L accounts mapped here ,do not create them as cost elements)

      Hope this helps you.

    Hi Roger,

As Venkat has stated, you need to only maintain PSG as settlement receiver, not GL account.

After that follow the process that Venkat has stated.

Additionally, check in OKG2, for your RA version, whether 'Transfer to Financial Accounting' has been checked or not.

In order to hit FI, this must be checked.
