Portal Monitoring - no CCMSPING data available?

Hi All

I have having a slight issue setting up monitoring for Java in Solution Manager. I have followed the guide on SAP Help (CCMS Ping Installation)http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/ae/cd823bd26a5c42e10000000a114084/frameset.htm which all seems to be ok and we are getting some values back in rz20.

However in Solution Managers 'System Monitoring' we are getting a 'grey cross' which claims no CCMSPING data available.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks

Phil

Hi Phil,

I have set up the same configuration and have the same problems.

CCMSPING is well installed and RZ20 is working well but looking into my Monitoring Work Center in SolMan, the availability status remains grey while in the RZ20, the systems availability status is green.

In RZ21, checking the CCMSPING is successful.

Did you already have a solution to solve the problem on Solman, Work Centers.

I should appreciate any answer from you.

Kind Regards

Paul

Dear all,

I have the same issue solution manager (EHP1 ) :

CCMS ping working in rz21 and rz20 but in work center I see the grey cross with the message

'no CCMSPING data available'.

I know this topic is very old but do you (or someone else) solve this problem?

And if yes how do you solve it?

Thank for your help & kind Regards

Emmanuel.

Hello All,

Enable CCMSPING for SolMan and this should go away.

Thank you

but CCMSPING works in RZ20 and test ping is OK in RZ21 for all my satelite.

What call you Enable CCMSPING for SolMan ?

Phil,

Were you able to get past this grey "no CCMSPING data available" status? If so, can you please share what steps you took?

Thanks,

Rob
