Vendor search help

Hi,

I need to add some extra information to the output list of vendor search help, so I was trying to work on BADI, BBP_F4_READ_ON_EXIT and method GET_VENDOR, but I wanted to know if this BADI is for restricting the values of output ? or can we add extra details to the output result, like for example to include the telephone number of the vendors along with already displayed information in the list?
