Don't add blanc row between web item exported to excel file

Hi,

I have a Web template with five queries and when I use the Export to excel button command I get a file with blanc rows between the different queries results. This happens only in excel because in the web it can appear together.

Do you know a way to get the various queries results without the blanc lines between them?

Any help will be appreciated and I will assign points.

Hi,

There might be a case where a junk character (^M: Control M Character) is getting appended at the end of each line while downloading.

Remove these ^M characters and you will be able to see the file correctly. (Wothout blank records in between).

I tried with report designer too but there I found another issue, the results appeared hierarchically as showed in the following example:

Characteristic 1

Characteristic 2

Characteristic 3

Key-Figure

Characteristic 1

Characteristic 2

Characteristic 3

Key-Figure

I think this happens because I use just one struture for the columns and not for the rows.

Do you know if using report designer the data can be presented normally with just one struture?

Do you know another way to delete the blanc lines in WAD?
