Can you define a "Variable" in the Pre-Parameter Sceen in KP34

Hi everyone. Every budget/planning cycle, we go into kp34 and update the "default year" for the "Default parameters" for each of our CO planning layouts. These specific screens define any "defaults" that you want to set up for the parameter/selection screen that appears (where you enter your selections) before the input "Layout" screens appears (tcode kp65) where you actually enter your new plan data.

Instead of entering a new "default" each year, for the parameter/selection screen (via tcode kp34), I would rather be able to enter a "variable", so I don't have to do this every year. But the field, for the fiscal year field, states that it accepts numeric values only, i.e. 2007, 2008, 2009, etc.

To be clear, I am referring to the parameter/selection screen that appears after you enter tcode kp06 (or tcode kp26, etc.), not the actual "layout screen", which we has built, which already uses variables for several fields.

Any help out there??

in the standard system your requirement is not possible
