Orders Scheduling in SAP PM Plan

Former Member

I have a PM Plan for a 20 Control Valves. All the PM Orders are generated on Single Day & Time. Since the duration for each Order is 8 hours, all the 20 Orders to be closed on the same day which practically not possible.

Is there any way to have this PM Plan for 20 days and all the internal Orders are scheduled accordingly, I mean one day each Job.

Hi

You have not mentioned current frequency of your maintenance plan.. but you mentioned that all orders are being generated on same day..

if your PM PLAN Strategy is for days( the least cycle length should be day for such cases).. then you can reschedule all your plans considering load factor on each work center....

do you have capacity leveling concept in your organization? if so you can check load factor on all PM orders for a particular period and reschedule the frequency...

if you want to have each day one control valve PM checks, use single cycle plan with cycle length as a DAY...

Hi,

Is the plan for every 20 days for all 20 Control valves ? Like, if the Plan 1 called Todaye 13.02.2018, so the next order to be called on 04.03.2018.

Create a single cycle plan with 20 day cycle and set the cycle start, so the next order will be scheduled accrodingly.
