Anonymous Logon for web templates

In BI 7.0 system, I have created a web template using WAD 3.x, including some mime objects such as Logos. I would like to make this available on the company Intranet without a logon prompt. Using SICF, I created an alias ZBEX for sap supplied BEx webservice and programmed a Login and Password on the Logon Data tab. I used the URL for WAD 3.x under

"Publish->Copy URL to clipboard" and changed BEx to ZBEx. The modified URL still prompts me for a logon.

I hope I have made the problem clear. Suggestions and recommendations are welcome.
