How to set the item master record to attach a PDF File ???

Hello

Please advise if the following is correct.

In Item Master Record , Remarks , I would like to attach a PDF file.

System Initialisation, General Settings , Path and Attachments Folder , Select Path B1_SHR|Attachments?

Hi

In Remarks column of Item Master, you can add only image of an item and description of Item.

To add a PDF to Item Master,

Create a UDF for Item Master and set the value to 'Type' in General and set the value to 'Link' in Structure.

Now you can attach any documents to this field in Item Master which will be saved in the B1_SHR|Attachments folder.

hi darpal,

You can attach PDF file in item master as activity.

Open item master,right click,select new activity,

select other activity,attach pdf file in attachments

and set activity end time to a maximum,add activity.
