Hi,

I want to know about empty file handling.I tried a scenario by placing an empty file in the source location. It is picked by the file adapter. But i'm not getting the output and i gave the parameters in sendercc as empty file handling and in receiver cc as Write empty file.

Is there any conditions to follow. Please help me regarding this.

Thanks,

Radhika

Hi,

In my Sender CC, I am unable to see the option "Handling of Empty Files".

Can someone let me know the reason.

With love,

In receiver comm channel, in processing parameters there is one parameter called Empty message handling with two options.

1. Write empty files.

2. ignore

Try using this. If XI server itself is giving empty file then it wont write. and u will come to know that it is problem with your configuration. and if still xi is writing then something with FTP server.

Also in Sender CC,

Processing Tab Page>Handling of Empty Files>

1) Do Not Create Message 2)Process Empty Files 3)Skip Empty Files

You can choose second one

Hi,

first you should check your adapters in the runtime workbench and message flow in sxi_monitor.
