Error during Post Goods Issue

Hi,

Sales order is created. Delivery is created and also the transfer order. I can do picking. But PGI is not happening. The error is "Posting only possible in periods 2008/05 and 2008/04 in Company code ABC"

Any suggestions? Where can I maintain the posting period range?

Hi ,

Tcode MMPV,

Enter ur co. code, Period-06 & fiscal year-2008. Put radio button on Open & close period. Now press F8.

Hello,

The material Management Posting periods has to be closed/openend every month. This is a standard SAP behaviour. As per the error in your system, the current posting period for Materials Manegement is in 05 2008. As the current period is 06 2008, you need to open the same.

Use transaction MMPV, input your company code,

period as 06 and year as 2008, the execute. The system will give a message "company code converted", if the period change successful. Now try posting the goods issue.

Go to MMPV and Open the period 2008/06.
