Hi,
what is the difference between inbound delivary and outbound delivary in sales and distribution module
Thanks®ards
kishore kumar
Hi Kishore,
Inbound delivery will be created while recievinfg the goods from the vendor.
In bound delivery will be used in MM side to procure the material.
Purchase order-->Inbound delivery
Outbound delivery will be used while delivering the goods to the customer from the company.
Outbound delivery will be used in SD to deliver the material to the customer.
Sales order-->Outbound delivery
I hope it will clear for you,
Regards,
Murali.

Dear Kishore kumar
When you do MIGO for the material coming into the plant, it is called inbound delivery which is done by MM people.
When you send any material out from the manufacturing plant it is called outbound delivery. While selling, you despatch the material which is called outbound delivery. This is done by SD people.
thanks
