Consumables material

Dear All,

I created one material typr for consumables and i want to know weather to maintain accouting view and Weather Quantity and Value update will happen for consumables(Configuration)

Please suggest me

Hi,

You don't have to maintain accounting view, if you don't want to monitor (update) the quantity and value. If you want to use inventory management, yes, you have to maintain accounting view.

Please refer to the SAP standard material type NLAG. That is the default SAP setup for consummables.

Consumable materials are procured directly for an account assignment.

they are not managed on value basis in inventory

Stationary assigned to cost center and office systems assigned to asset

Automatically updates consumption for materials that have a MMR

Yes you have to do in T code OMS2 - QTy. and Value - Check

Hi,

If you want to trace the stock and value of the material,Qty and Value updation can be ticked.Otherwise it's not mandatory.

Mostly in real Scenario,stationary items will not be traced for stock.
