Finish Constraint date, Duration & Finish Constraint works

Hi Folks,

I want to know how the Finish Constraint date, Duration & Finish Constraint work together in maintenance order (IW31). What is link between them and how its work.

Kindly help me for this.

Hi Gaurav,

Duration and Work is to calculate the total hours of work involved for one Operation. Based on the Start date and work centre capacity, it will push the dates accordingly. In case any contrains are used, then the date will be overwritten based on Constrain setting.

When you use Constrains like Must Start on, it means the operation is scheduled to start on that particular date.Similarly, when you sent Must Finish Date, then system will put the end date for that operation.
