SAP integration

I am working on integration with SAP , which requires configuration and some patches to be installed on SAP side ,is this applicable for SAP CAL ??

Hello Laila,

not sure what solution you have brought up so that might give a bit more insight.

In general once you have brought up a CAL instance you need to apply additional patches&configurations on your own (you typically have admin rights but you might need a maintenance certificate).

There is no automatic patching by SAP.

Hi Joerg,

thank you for your answer ,

the integration is between SAP and OpenText ,there is an OpenText Extended ECM for SAP that enables the integration and connection between SAP and OpenText compnents (Content Server ,Archive Server ...) I just want to run ademo for this integration using any of these trial versions instances of SAP products ( SAP s/4 HANA ,or SAP ERP 6.0 , or SAP CRM 7.0) so, do I have admin rights on trial versions ?? also how can I get maintenance certificat if it is required ?

and sorry, but what do you mean by automatic patching ?
