Visual composer- Data not shown

We have just installed Visual Composer.

I added a simple BI query to an iview, added an input and output forms. When I run the application, the table output doesnt show any data.

I am able to select the query from the 'Find Data' option after selecting my BI system. The BI query if run in BEX shows data and the underlying info provider holds data.

What could be the reasons for the data not showing in the application output. ?
