Bid Submission - Interface data contains errors

I have done all the required settings for the Bidding Process, the bid successfully goes to the Vendor's contact person inbox. Before, he tries to create a bid, he can see all the Bid details but once he hits the create bid, everything gets cleared. I'm getting two errors:

1. Interface data contains errors

2. End date has been reached, the submission deadline has passed ( Obviously, this is due to the fact all the details are cleared including date).

Anyone has experienced this before. I have already seen a post by Disha about deactivating all the custom Badi's but in vain.

Regards. IA

    Hi Imtiaz,

    Can you check the following:

    1) Execute transaction BBP_QUOT in the SAPGUI and follow the same steps.

    2) Before you Hit a check, set breakpoint at BBP_PD_MSG_ADD and check from where the errors are being thrown. There might be other errors also.

    In most of the cases the problem is due to the misconfiguration of internal number range for quotation (bid) object.

    ->Cross-Application Basic Settings

    ->Number Ranges

    ->SRM Server Number Ranges

    ->Define Number Range for Local Bids

    Kindly check the same.

    thanks,

    Ashwin
