Do new customer accounts need to be activated within webtool's (UserAccount.Active = 'Y')?

Thanks.

Where is the business partner being created in Web tools or B1?

Sorry, the BP is created in SAP.

They should all be set as active by default now. This is no longer tied to the Account On Hold field in SBO like it was previously. Active for webtools determines whether or not an account can log in or not.

What I found was a number of new accounts (created in B1) were not active in Webtools, and therefore preventing users logging in. This is using version 628.

Hmmm, and all of the accounts were set as active and were not on hold in business one?

All set as active and not on hold.

They are all new accounts, although I would have to double check to see if this was true for all new accounts since the last initialize synch.
