New server for TREX basically required?

Hi SAP Experts,

We want to implement Trex in our demolandscape.

Our demolandscape consist of 1 server with ERP 6.0 with HR module and integrated BI and Enterprise Portal with ESS and MSS. We are on Netweaver 2004s. The access to this demolandscape is very limited. So the workload is not at the limit.

So my question is: In principle is it possible to install the TREX on the same system/server? Or do we need a second server due to infrastructure or other issues?
