Quanti conversion

hi experts

here in my reports i have quantity field in that i am lot of unit of measures here client wants conversion.

ex:

QUANTITY CONVERSION

100 sq cm 10 cm

100 clc 20cm

like that i have to convert in single column

can anybody help me in this

    Hi ,

    If you are working on BI 7.0 , U have the quantity conversions done at Key figure level. Other wise if you want the same in Report, Create a new column and use a calc key figure with the boolean operators which will read the existing the Unit and correspondingly mulitplies with a factor .

    or Create the Individual columns for each unit and use the key fig multiplications .

    Hi anand ,

    If you are working in MM module report in BW then for this go to MM01 then additional data button on the tool bar here you find unit of measure tab click on this u get conversion rules for each and every material

    write logic using those field in your data source.

    If you dont want to do this then

    1. Write macros at Bex level

    or 2. Write conversion routine for each and every client requirment ..

    assign points if its helpful
