FI : Asset Accounting

Hi Gurus

1. First I have set the chart of Depreciation.

I have created a new asset class, assigned account determination, screen layout, number ranges etc.

Assigned the accounts in AO90 also. When I tried to create a asset master with this new asset class it shows the follg. message :

"Asset class 80500 cannot be used in Company code 0575"

2. When I tried to activate the Depreciation areas in the asset class (OAYZ), it gives the follg. message :

"Maintain scrn layout rule for dep.area 05 + asset class 1000 or deactiv. it"

I don't have such type of asset class at all (1000)

As this is very urgent, can anyone help me out on this please?

POint 1 can you confirm the asset class and company code are the ones you want to use, it may be that you have incomplete config elsewhere

point 2 Check if Asset class 1000 is in config for your company code/ Chart of Depn. If it is and you dont want it, delete it.
