How to synchronize empty fields from ECC to Hybris Commerce via SAP Datahub?

I am facing the following problem:

System landscape:

ECC and Hybris Commerce with synchronisation via SAP Datahub

Process:

In ECC I delete the value of the field CITY2 in the customer address data so that the field is empty. Now I want to synchronize the changed data to Hybris Commerce. In the idoc structure there is no attribute CITY2 as well as in the XML which is processed in the datahub. I expect, that in Hybris Commerce the corresponding field will be cleared as well.

Problem:

At the moment the field is not cleared after synchronization; the field still has the value before data change.

Is there a solution for this problem?
