Capacity Calculation - PM PP Integration

Hi,

In the Integration of PM and PP, are Capacity requirements/avaialbility calculated on Weekly Basis or Daily basis.

In our case, if I block the work center for a day by creating Maintenance Order, while creating Production Order system doesn't show any error message saying that Capactiy is overloaded. (If I check in CM50, it clearly shows the extra percentage requirement in red color)

But, if i create few more Mainteannce Orders in the same week and then If check the PO it says Capacity is not available. If I click the pop up window, it shows the details of error.

In the details, Available Capacity, Requirement and Overload are shown on WEEKLY (Eg: Period : 33 2008).

Is there any setting to make that calculation on daily basis so that whenever I generate MO, it should reflect on Production Order.

    hi

    i think it can be maintained in the Time profile maintained in CM50 ,in T code CM50 check the time profile you can change the evaluation period ,planning period etc

    i think normally time profile will be assigned to the capacity profile ,hence check the capacity profile and the settings
