Customizing Portal runtime logon Portal 7.0 SPS15 - NWCE 7.1?

Hi gurus,

my client has SAP Portal 7.0 on Netweaver SPS15 version.

I need to personalize portal.runtime.logon component.

Which are correct versions of NWDS?

I installed NWCE 7.1 on my PC. Can I personalize portal component of SAP EP 7.0? When I imported .par file, NWCE show a warning message about deprecated techonology. I import .par file but I can't export par file. Do y know other software or technologies for do it?

Thanks a lot.

Gerardo

    Hi Gerardo,

You can use NWCE, but might face some errors at the time of compilation.

Better way is you download the par file, extract from browse.default to logon par.

Import it into NWDS (7.0), This way you wont face any compilation issues, as some of the methods are deprecated in NWCE (JDK 1.5).

For editing Logon par file you can refer:
