HI Experts,

I'm working on EDI 845(Contract agreement-outbound), 844 (charge back-inbound) and 849(claim settlements-outbound) interfaces from SAP PI to SAP Vistex.

Could you please explain me the highlevel functionality of these interfaces and is there any way 810 interface is related to these interfaces?

Thanks,

Satish

in simple terms, a manufacturer gets the weekly monthly data as it set on distributor system. The report one way is edi 844, rebates on how it is generated and what are the receivables.

849, is two way communication so no manual debit memo is sent over a file like in case of 844 but everything is done via edi, it can different some have single responses and in some multiple times it can be resubmitted.

845 is when a supplier sends a edi contract to the distributor on whose basis chargeback or rebates are generated.

Also you must look into edi 867 sales tracing to understand everything alot better.

Hi Satish,

Did you worked on EDI 845?, requesting you share details about it? Is it related to Sales contracts with Item prices?

Thanks and Regards

844 and 849 are chargeback request and chargeback reconciliation.

845 is a contract pricing and membership document.

A nice description of 844 and 849 is here:
