Hi,

I would like to install Mit Kerberos v5 with Solaris 10. I should create the keytab file. But I don't know what's the meaning of the next parameter :

ktutil --> addent

addent -password -p principal -k kvno -e enctype

what's the value of "principal", "kvno" and "enctype" ?

Thank's in advanced

I´m not sure how this is related to SAP - can you elaborate?

This step (kerberos setup) is a previous task to configure SSO with SAP system (in Unix).

I followed

http://osdir.com/ml/encryption.kerberos.general/2004-11/msg00007.html

and it worked perfectly for us

Hi,

I've read this link, but I don't know why I need to execute the step 2.2.

Remember that this document is for Linux and I've Solaris.

And the keytab is necessary to create in the AD (Windows 2003) or did you create in the linux system ?

Thanks

I did that for Solaris, Linux and HP-UX.

What is unclear on 2.2?

I try to download the bc_snc_adapter_101.zip from the link, but doesn't exist.

Search sdn for "snc adapter" - you will get a direct link.
