Rmote client copy

Hi guys,

I am working on implementation project,

On development server functional work is still going on,

i started remote client copy from development to production which was not successfully

its showing an error dictionary missing some tables,

can any one tell when to do the remote client copy ,

I am confused,Thanks in advance

    remote-client-copy-table-def-missing-locally-error (For ur error)

    Why to do remote client copy:

    When u want to copy client betweent the systems, like in ur case u are doing.

    If u want to do client copy within one system then it is called Local Client copy.

    Hi Vasu,

    I would suggest not to do the Remote client copy. I will suggest to go for Client Export and Import. so that you will not miss anything.

    Use scc8 for exporting from the source client

    Use scc7 for importing from the client
